Communication Heat Maps
One of the coaches' biggest tools is our voice! The key to enhancing our effectiveness is understanding how we use it and is essential in establishing the potential blind spots and biases that we all undoubtedly have.
We will utilise our coach development analyst to code and produce you a statistical report mapping your communication in either training or matchday. This will then be followed up with a 30-minute session with one of our professional coaching mentors to help you understand the heat map and offer insight and advice into areas of focus for your coach development action plan.

Developing a curriculum or methodology involves creating a structured plan for teaching and learning.
This process typically involves several key steps:
Identifying learning objectives
Determine what you want players to learn or achieve by the end of your program. This could include knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
Conducting needs assessment
Evaluate the current knowledge of coaches and skills/abilities of your target audience to identify gaps and determine outcomes.
Designing learning activities
Create a variety of activities that will help players achieve the learning objectives. This could include storyboards, practices, and helping coaches understand how to plan and deliver sessions.
Selecting teaching strategies
Decide on the best methods for delivering the content and engaging players in the learning process. This could include coaching discussions, demonstrations, case studies, and role-playing.
Developing assessment tools
Create assessment methods and feedback ideas, such as quizzes, group work ideas, and presentations, to measure players' understanding and progress.
Implementing/evaluating the curriculum
Deliver the curriculum to players, making adjustments as needed based on feedback and observations. Assess the effectiveness of the curriculum by gathering feedback from players, parents, and coaches, analyse the assessment results, and make improvements for future iterations.
Overall, developing a curriculum or methodology involves a systematic approach to planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching and learning activities to ensure that players achieve the desired learning outcomes.
